Background and Experience
I grew up in Cecil County, Maryland, and graduated from Rising Sun High School. Growing up I was interested in science, structures, and carpentry which influenced my interest in Civil Engineering.
I attended The Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Construction Engineering and Management.
During my undergraduate studies, I was fortunate to meet my beautiful wife, Lauren, who I married a few years later. We currently live in Forest Hill, MD where we built a house together.
After graduation, I worked for a large general contractor, Harkin’s Builder’s Inc., as a superintendent on four story dormitory building for the Marine Corps in Quantico, Virginia.
While employed with Harkin's Builder's Inc., I began a part-time Master’s program at The Catholic University of American and graduated in 2012 with a Master’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Construction Engineering and Management.
A few years into my career I accepted a position with The Army Corps of Engineers as a Project Engineer at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia, where I assisted in the completion of a one-billion dollar hospital project. I was later transferred to Arlington National Cemetery where I became a Project Manager responsible for oversight of current and future construction projects at the cemetery. Later, I worked as a Senior Project Engineer, contracted by The Army Corps of Engineers through MSS Services, Inc. where I was assigned to manage cyber security development projects for NSA at Ft, Meade, Maryland.
Currently, I work for Weller Development Company, managing a large Baltimore City revitalization program at Port Covington.
I have always had a passion for inspecting buildings and I had a very positive experience with my home inspection many years ago. Because of that experience, I later received my home inspector license and have enjoyed providing many clients, friends and family members with home inspections, and consulting on home renovation projects.
My goal for every home inspection is to provide my client(s) with the comfort they deserve when buying a house. I’ll do everything I can to achieve that goal with all of my clients.
