Home Inspection Services
I provide home Inspections for home buyers, sellers, lenders and renters in accordance with the Maryland and National Standards of Practice. I will perform a visual inspection of the systems, components, and equipment of the building and improvements, and will provide the Client with a written report identifying the major problems or deficiencies of these systems. A Home Inspection include systems such as: foundation and structure; exterior; heating and air conditioning; plumbing; electrical; interior; kitchen and appliances.
Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer today, and every home should be inspected for radon to determine if mitigation is needed.
What is Radon?
Radon is a radioactive gas that has been found in homes all over the United States. It comes from the natural breakdown of uranium in soil, rock and water and gets into the air you breathe. Radon typically moves up through the ground to the air above and into your home through cracks and other holes in the foundation.

I offer guidance for the handy Home Owner who has the skills and time to accomplish a Do-It-Yourself project but needs consultation and direction to get started.
This includes methods, processes, tasks that you will have to accomplish for a successful DIY project.
I will provide opinions on feasibility of the project, rough cost and quantity estimates, design and layout features of the renovation.
I will provide inspections throughout the duration of your DIY project.
I can provide a third party opinion to Home Owner’s who are currently undergoing minor or major renovations.
I can provide insight to the home owner on quality of materials and construction methods used by the contractor.
My inspections can occur periodically throughout and/or after the renovation.
